This project is a remake of Gone With The Wind set in the Lebanese South. In this reiteration of the classic film, the slave-owning south wins the civil war, however, its way of life is nonetheless destroyed.

Gone With the Wind Jabal Amel is a curation of documents and performances that anchor a form of role-playing. Both the project’s creators and audience take part in this role play, pretending to consume and produce a non-existent film, also titled Gone With the Wind Jabal Amel

Some of these anchors are portions of the film’s script, a summary of its plot, some end credits, other documents pertaining to the project’s creation, an encrypted video essay explaining the meaning of the film, as well as a trailer for the film.
